Georgia-Pacific Paper Chemicals Announces Price Increase
10% Increase Relates to Rosin Size Product Line

ATLANTA, GA. January 31, 2006 --

The paper chemicals group of Georgia-Pacific Resins, Inc. (GPRI) announces a 10% price increase relating to its rosin size products. The price increase, which is effective March 1, 2006, is due to a continuation of dramatic increases in raw material and energy costs.
